ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon is fired up to make his rematch against Tawanchai PK Saenchai an absolute war, as long as it unlocks his ambitions of becoming a two-sport kingpin in the promotion.
The 34-year-old has another go at his foe's gold in the ONE 170 headline attraction inside the sold-out Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, this Friday, Jan. 24.
More than a year since he dropped a majority decision to Tawanchai in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 46 in December 2023, the Bangkok native believes he has all the necessary upgrades to flip the script.

Speaking to ONE Championship, the Superbon Training Camp head honcho sent a message to his fans and warned the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion that he is completely dialed in for this impending war:
"Tawanchai, we'll meet in the ring soon. I won't hold back. This time, I'll definitely win. Thanks to all the fans who have been cheering and encouraging me. Thank you very much. I will do my best to make you guys enjoy this fight."
"I won't disappoint you, a million percent. Winning or losing is another matter. But this five-round fight won't waste your time for sure. See you on January 24th," he added.
Since that painful defeat, the striking veteran has gone on a 2-0 run in the promotion. He overcame longtime nemesis Marat Grigorian in a kickboxing tie and put 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut to sleep in their Muay Thai contest.
Meanwhile, the defending king heads into this main event tilt on a 7-0 streak. His most recent win came against Nattawut at ONE 167 in June last year.
Superbon drawing inspiration from Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of fight night
Though many see Tawanchai's age and gas tank giving him the edge over Superbon, the challenger doesn't necessarily think he'll struggle to cope with what the former brings to the table.
The 34-year-old fighter told the promotion that his advancing age doesn't make him any less of a threat.
Just as multi-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo has continued to dazzle as he closes in on his 40th birthday in February this year, Superbon is confident that he can do the same in the world of kickboxing and Muay Thai:
"I feel like I can fight anyone in ONE or with any athlete. I feel like I have reached my prime and I'm ready to fight anyone. I'll keep going and staying on top for a long, long time. I really admire Ronaldo. He's in his 40s and still in his prime, healthy routine. He's my idol."
