Muay Thai upstart Johan Ghazali believes Superbon will emerge victorious in his hotly anticipated rematch against Tawanchai PK Saenchai at ONE 170.
The ONE world champions go toe-to-toe for the second time on the global stage inside the sold-out Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, on Jan. 24. Tawanchai's featherweight Muay Thai crown will be on the line once more.
Ghazali, who's been upgrading his craft alongside the challenger at Superbon Training Camp, sees a different hunger in the Thai striking veteran as he seeks to accomplish two-sport world championship status next week — one that he believes will power him to victory.

Speaking to ONE Championship, Johan Ghazali shared:
"Of course, I'm looking forward to the Superbon fight. I hope he gets his second belt. I've been training alongside him, so I would love to win alongside him as well."
Superbon absorbed a defeat during their first encounter at ONE Friday Fights 46 in December 2023.
That said, the ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion pushed Tawanchai to the limit, resulting in a majority decision ruling after their five-round scrap inside Bangkok's legendary Lumpinee Stadium.
Johan Ghazali says timing will be crucial vs. Johan Estupinan
Before the two striking wizards tango inside the Circle next Friday, the Malaysian-American sensation squares off against Johan Estupinan in a flyweight Muay Thai war.
There, 'Jojo' seeks his seventh promotional win to dent the Colombian's pristine 26-0 resume.
Though he knows it won't be a walk in the park, given 'Panda Kick's all-around prowess, the Rentap Muay Thai Gym and Superbon Training Camp star is confident he has the right attributes to keep his momentum going under the ONE banner.
In the same interview, Johan Ghazali continued:
"I might not be as fast as him, but I'm sure he doesn't have the power that I have. And that will play to my advantage because timing beats speed."
