Jonathan Haggerty is already one of the most accomplished fighters in British history, and he wants nothing more than to inspire his teammates in London.
In an interview with the Winners Talking Podcast, the reigning ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion hoped that his teammates at Team Underground and Knowlesy Academy didn't grow jealous of him walking around holding multiple belts.
Haggerty said:
"I hope it’s not jealousy. I hope I motivate them so I can show them what I’m doing, what they can be, and what they can achieve in the sport. I hope they’re not jealous. But yeah, you got to train hard, and when you get to the top the sky’s the limit."

Haggerty is considered one of this generation's best strikers and the British superstar has, so far, captured three world titles in ONE Championship.
Before his reign of terror at bantamweight, Haggerty was the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion before relinquishing the gold to Thai megastar Rodtang Jitmuangnon.
Jonathan Haggerty eventually moved up to 145 pounds after a couple of health issues going down to flyweight.
That decision proved crucial to Haggerty as he captured both the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world titles.
'The General' had one successful defense of the bantamweight Muay Thai throne when he knocked out Felipe Lobo at ONE Fight Night 19.
Haggerty is now set to defend the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title against Chinese icon Wei Rui at ONE 171 on Feb. 20 at Lusail Sports Arena in Qatar.

Jonathan Haggerty talks about the fortitude needed to succeed in Muay Thai
Jonathan Haggerty is one of those rare fighters with the full knowledge to reach the pinnacle of Muay Thai.
While some fighters can train to the absolute best, it's the heart that truly matters the most when hunting for world championship success.
In the same interview with the Winners Talking Podcast:
"So [to be a world champion] it takes a lot. It takes heart. That's one of the main things as well. You need heart to get in there cause, you know, you could be the best fighter in the world, but if you get it stuck on you, you crumble. It's not good. So you need heart, determination, grit, dedication, as well. All of that."
