At 36 years old, Anissa Meksen is one of the most experienced high level female kickboxers in the world today.

The French-Algerian competitor has already accumulated a career's worth of knowledge with some incredible success over the years.

Since signing with ONE Championship back in 2021, 'C18' has continued to face off with the very best that kickboxing has to offer.

From her bouts with 'The Queen' Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom to her recent clash with Jackie Buntan for the inaugural ONE strawweight kickboxing world championship at ONE 169, Meksen has faced the very best of the best on the global stage.

While Anissa Meksen may have come up short in both of her recent outings, fighting the top competitors in the world is simply what she does.

That will be no different at ONE Friday Fights 92 on Dec. 20 when she welcomes Japanese star and K-1 world champion Kana Morimoto to the promotion.

For everything that 'Krusher Queen' has accomplished in the past, it takes a lot to impress a seasoned competitor like Meksen.

During the press conference ahead of their meeting at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, she said that Morimoto doesn't stand out from the other opponents she has faced:

"I faced a lot of strong athletes in the world in my division. The best. So for me, I am not impressed by her skills."

Anissa Meksen will look to hold her ground

As a former dominant champion in K-1, Kana Morimoto will be hoping that a win over Anissa Meksen will put her immediately into the title picture.

For the new arrival, you can't get a better win unless she were to defeat a multi-time world champion in her debut.

Meksen isn't going to give up her spot as a top contender without a fight though. In the three years that she has been competing in ONE Championship, she's become very used to her surroundings.

Handing the veteran a third consecutive loss will be no easy feat for the debutant, but the chance is always there for her when she takes to the Mecca of Muay Thai this Friday, Dec. 20.
