Reigning ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek believes his biggest improvement has been learning to fight a fan-friendly style inside the Circle.
After a stellar 2023 campaign that saw him win five straight fights, including a stunning unanimous decision victory over Rodtang in the Muay Thai Fight of the Year, 'The Kicking Machine' is ready to make his 2024 run even better. He's already off to a good start, having defeated Japanese kickboxing star Takeru Segawa at ONE 165 in Tokyo.
Next, he'll look to add a second ONE world title to his resume when he faces the defending ONE bantamweight Muay Thai champion Jonathan Haggerty at ONE 168 in Denver, Colorado.

Since making his promotional debut more than five years ago, 'The Kicking Machine' has seen himself grow as a fighter immensely, but when asked what his greatest improvement has been, he told the South China Morning Post:
"For me, I think I have improved in terms of style. Since I've been in ONE Championship, I have studied my style a lot. The style that ONE Championship fans like, and I have been adjusting myself in order to fit the fan base. I think that's how I have improved."
Jonathan Haggerty ready for one of the biggest fights of his life against Superlek
Though Jonathan Haggerty didn't notch quite as many wins as Superlek did in 2023, his performance throughout the year was nonetheless impressive. In April, 'The General' scored an earth-shattering first-round knockout against Nong-O Hama to claim the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title.
Seven months later, he returned to claim a second belt, adding the vacant ONE bantamweight kickboxing crown to his collection with a highlight-reel KO against current MMA titleholder Fabricio Andrade.
Since then, he's added a big defense to his resume, besting 'Demolition Man' Felipe Lobo in an early Fight of the Year contender at ONE Fight Night 19 in February.
Can 'The General' keep his momentum alive and land perhaps his biggest win yet, or will 'The Kicking Machine' prove to be too much for the UK striking sensation?
