Reigning and undisputed ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion 'The General' Jonathan Haggerty of the United Kingdom says he had no business being in the ring with Superlek Kiatmoo9 more than half a decade ago but that he is thankful for the experience.
Haggerty faced Superlek in October 2018, and was stopped inside the distance via technical knockout.
'The General' told Sky Sports MMA Club in a recent interview:

"So yeah, the first fight with Superlek was in Bolton, about seven or six years ago, and shouldn’t have stepped into that one, to be honest, because I had about 13 fights, he had about 200-300 fights, he was dominating everyone, he was the best in the world, and I was just an up and coming fighter."
Obviously, things are different now, with Haggerty really coming into his own as a fighter. He is now a two-sport ONE world champion and one of the biggest stars in ONE Championship.
'The General' and 'The Kicking Machine' are getting ready to rehash their rivalry, and with the two elite strikers at the top of their game, it's certainly anyone's fight. Fans won't have to wait long for these two to throw down again.
