Mikey Musumeci has pretty much won everything at the highest levels of Brazilian jiu-jitsu. However, if there's one thing missing in his trophy case, it's an ADCC Submission Fighting World Championship.

Still, don't expect 'Darth Rigatoni' to compete in this prestigious biennial event anytime soon.

Appearing in an interview with Cageside Press, Musumeci candidly admitted that an ADCC title isn't something he's interested in:

"A lot of people put pressure on me. 'Oh, do ADCC, do ADCC.' But the thing about ADCC is they only give 10K to win. So why the hell would I ever [do that]? Like, 'Oh, you made 10K good for you.' I can just do seminars and make 10K in a weekend."

While Musumeci acknowledges the prestige that comes from being an ADCC champion, there's another glaring issue that morally prevents him from throwing his hat in the ring.

The 28-year-old BJJ ace is one of the most vocal figures against PEDs in the sport, and ADCC's supposed lack of testing wouldn't fly with him.

The reigning ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion continued:

"I have no motive, money-wise. I think ADCC has no drug testing, so they're not representing a good image for the sport with steroids. So I just don't feel any motivation to do it."

Mikey Musumeci ready for "the biggest super fight in BJJ" against Kade Ruotolo

Another reason why Mikey Musumeci won't jump to ADCC anytime soon is because he's been scrapping with the best in the world under the ONE banner.

On September 6, 'Darth Rigatoni' will look to become a two-division world champion when he challenges arguably one of the finest grapplers on the planet, Kade Ruotolo, at ONE 168: Denver.

The victor will leave Ball Arena with the lightweight submission grappling crown in tow.

In the same interview, Musumeci vowed to create magic with his fellow megastar Kade Ruotolo:

"That's why we're going to make history together. We really want to get jiu-jitsu into the mainstream. And we really want to keep growing the sport. So two guys that come forward and kill each other, I think that's what's going to do it, like a brawl, like that vibe."
