In a recent episode of 3 Rounds, former UFC double champ Daniel Cormier discussed the upcoming boxing bout between Silva and Paul. 'DC' expressed his uncertainty over whether 'The Spider' will be able to outstrike Paul given the recent news of his KO during sparring.

Terming the match a "risky fight," Cormier had this to say:

"I just don't know if Anderson, especially after what I have read this week, is the guy that is going to beat him like I thought he was before. It's a big fight for Showtime. It's a big moment for Jake Paul. It's a risky fight. Does Anderson get it done? I guess we will find out in a couple of days."

Anderson SIlva sheds light on his controversial comments

Anderson Silva recently addressed his claims that his sparring partner knocked him out during practice. In an interview with MacLife, the former middleweight champion clarified that he was only joking about getting knocked out to promote his partners.

'The Spider' said:

"Let me tell you something very important, when I talking about the guys doing the hard sparring and take me knockout, it's just joking, because I train with the young kids. And the guy ask me and I don't put nothing bad in my mind. The guy say, 'Oh, Anderson take knockout in the training.' Of course not. But I just like to help to putting my partners up."
