Second-ranked ONE Championship flyweight MMA contender 'Little Piranha' Yuya Wakamatsu of Japan is willing to do whatever it takes, and beat whoever is in front of him to prove he is worthy for another opportunity at the coveted gold.
Wakamatsu is fresh off a tough three-round banger against Japanese-American star Gilbert Nakatani at ONE Fight Night 26 on Prime Video last weekend, and he is looking for another chance to make his case for a title shot.
Speaking to veteran MMA reporter Nick Atkin of Bangkok Post, Wakamatsu said he was willing to face anyone on his way to the belt.

'Little Piranha' said:
"My next opponent can be anyone. I just want the belt and ONE Championship can just know give me the opponent."
Wakamatsu is currently riding a nifty three-fight winning streak, with impressive victories over Xie Wei, Danny Kingad, and the aforementioned Nakatani.
The Japanese star believes he is only a handful of wins away from a shot at the ONE flyweight MMA world title.

Talk about being a perfectionist, 'Little Piranha' Yuya Wakamatsu says he wasn't satisfied with his fight against Gilbert Nakatani at ONE Fight Night 26 on Prime Video.
Wakamatsu told ONE Championship:
"To say, as a martial artist, I didn't do a very good job, but the fact that I won, that's good. The result is good."
