Liam Harrison was last in action in August 2022 when he vied for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title against former divisional king Nong-O Hama. Unfortunately, his bid came to an abrupt end after he injured his knee in the opening round and was unable to continue.
His recovery took longer than he expected but now is confident that he is back healthy and ready to pick up where he left off.
Waiting for him in his return is Seksan, someone Harrison has been looking forward to facing for some time now and is excited to finally realize it. Known as 'The Man Who Yields To No One', the Thai legend won his first eight matches under ONE Championship before seeing it clipped in his last fight back in April.
ONE 168 will take place at the Ball Arena in Denver and air live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription. Tickets for the event are available for purchase on Ticketmaster.
Liam Harrison looking to become the first to KO Seksan in ONE Championship
Liam Harrison is looking to make it a winning return at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6. And if possible, he wants to knock out Seksan Or Kwanmuang and deal him his first KO defeat in ONE Championship.
He shared this in an interview with the promotion, highligting how a KO victory over Seksan would be remarkable feat for him since the veteran Thai fighter has not be KO'd for quite a while now.
"I'm looking to be the first guy to knock him out in ONE Championship. Only one person has stopped Seksan before and that was years ago. No one else has come close to looking like doing it."
Seksan's only loss in ONE Championship to date was back in April by unanimous decision at the hands of Japanese Yutaro Asahi.
