At 39 years old, Thai legend Petchtanong Petchfergus is eager to show everyone that he can still compete with the best of the best.
On Friday, Dec. 6, he'll get the chance to prove it when he steps back inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand for a showdown with rising 20-year-old prospect Nabil Anane at ONE Fight Night 26 on Prime Video.
Having already held the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world championship and other titles outside the organization, Petchtanong isn't necessarily concerned with earning a title opportunity. He wants to keep testing himself against the top dogs in his division. Speaking to ONE, he said:

"I don't know if my passion has decreased. Because I've been a champion before, I might have experienced and tasted being a champion, so it's not that exciting for me anymore. But if I have the chance, I just want to fight with top fighters like Haggerty, Wei Rui, or Ennahachi. I just want to test my skill with them."
Petchtanong gets another tough test at ONE Fight Night 26 against Nabil Anane
If Petchtanong really wants to test himself against the best fighters out there, squaring off with Nabil Anane is a pretty good place to start.
After coming up short in his promotional debut against two-sport king Superlek Kiatmoo9 last year, the 6'4" sensation has rattled off five straight wins in the art of eight limbs, including knockouts against Nakrob Fairtex and Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai. Anane also has back-to-back wins against former ONE world title challenger Felipe Lobo and Lethwei legend Soe Lin Oo.
With 38 wins to his credit, Anane is already sitting as the fifth-ranked contender in the bantamweight Muay Thai division. Now the question is, can Anane get it done in his kickboxing debut against one of the best kickboxers to ever do it?
Fans in the United States and Canada can watch ONE Fight Night 26 live on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, Dec. 6 in U.S. primetime.
