American Muay Thai sensation 'The Chef' Luke Lessei wants all the smoke in ONE Championship.
The 28-year-old joined the world's largest martial arts organization in December 2023, and has since put on two epic performances on the global stage. Now, the Dubuque Martial Arts Group representative is looking to join the elite ranks in the recently announced ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix.
ONE Championship is bringing back its famous kickboxing tournament, featuring eight of the world's best featherweight strikers.
Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview, Lessei said he wants in on the action.

'The Chef' stated:
"Yeah, 100 percent. I’m down, I'm down for anything. This is like the dream. Me and my dad have worked 20 years to get here, so it's like let's do whatever. We're in this small window of time. I'm 28 years old, I'm still young, and I just want to soak it all in. Of course, I want to become a superstar. I want to try and change and evolve the game, and be that young American star, and I think I have to take what comes my way and make sure I'm just keeping the fans happy."
Lessei is one of the most exciting strikers in the promotion, and if he is able to land in the high-profile tournament, it will certainly be a treat for spectators.
