Roberto Soldic isn’t a man for theatrics, and he has just one thing in mind and that is to fight Murad Ramazanov.
The Croatian sensation will make his much-anticipated ONE Championship debut against Ramazanov at ONE on Prime Video 5 this Friday, December 2, at Mall of Asia Arena in Manila.
Soldic’s debut, and the rest of the ONE on Prime Video 5 card, is available live and for free for existing subscribers of Prime Video in North America.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Soldic said that he doesn’t care how he beats Ramazanov. What the former two-division KSW champion wants is to just go inside the Circle and take care of business.
Roberto Soldic said:
“Just win. I don't care how. Just submission, points, KO, doesn't matter for me. I just want to win the fight. Be smart, be sharp, be fast. People always expect KOs from me because most of my fights are finished by KO, so I guess – surprise – also submission, I also have good jiu-jitsu. I believe in it, and just to win. I see a good fight.”
Soldic, before he signed with ONE Championship earlier this year, was one of the most sought-after free agents in mixed martial arts. The 27-year-old was a two-division world champion in KSW and brought fear against anyone he came up against.
‘Robocop’ is seen as the heir apparent to the legendary Mirko Cro Cop with 17 of his total 20 wins coming via knockout. Ramazanov, however, is as dangerous as anyone in the welterweight division. The Russian fighter holds a perfect 11-0 record in his career and is 3-0 in ONE Championship.
Roberto Soldic says he has all bases covered against Ramazanov
Roberto Soldic knows that a lot hangs in the balance in his fight against Ramazanov in Manila.
Not only will Soldic face one of the toughest fighters in the division, but the winner between him and Ramazanov could also take a shot at ONE welterweight world champion Christian Lee.
While a prospect of a world title shot looms on the horizon, Soldic told The MMA Superfan that he’s fully focused on Ramazanov.
Roberto Soldic added that he fully expects what Ramazanov would do during their match:
“I think he's going to shoot, of course. But, it's an MMA fight. I'm focused all the time and I don't know, he can maybe throw the punches, of course. It's MMA and I'm ready for everything, and I do what I do always. If I do what I do always, it's going to be a good fight for me, and I'm going to win this fight.”
