Nabil Anane is a serious problem for the bantamweight Muay Thai division at just 20 years of age. His staggering 6'3" frame makes him a tough style match-up for most competitors in his weight class.
This past weekend at ONE Fight Night 24, he added former title challenger Felipe Lobo to his current winning streak, which now stands at four in a row.
His main roster debut was a huge success following some massive wins on the Friday Fights series over the likes of Kulabdam, Muangthai, and Nakrob.
Lobo didn't seem to have an answer for the range of his opponent, who was able to keep this fight at his preferred range for the majority of the duration.

In his post-fight interview, Anane said that he knew what to expect from his opponent because Lobo would surely attempt to study his one loss in the promotion which came against Superlek on his debut:
"Felipe Lobo, I knew that he would come towards me because I knew that he was watching Superlek and I figured out how to fight him. But he was very, very, very tough."
The sky is the limit for Nabil Anane
Taking out some of the top names on the Friday Fights roster is one thing, but Nabil Anane is more than ready for the main roster.
He's shown bags of potential in the past, but winning a convincing decision against the last man to challenge for the world championship shows that he has gone up yet another level.
Anane is still getting better with each fight, and this performance against Lobo showed that he doesn't just have range; he's excellent at implementing it against opponents who want to close that gap.
He's only getting better, and that's a worrying thought for the rest of the bantamweights.
