Thongpoon PK Saenchai was able to record another victory under the ONE Championship banner on his return to Lumpinee Stadium.
It has been an up and down year for the Thai fan favorite thus far. But, he had a great opportunity to close out the year on a big win.
On Dec. 6 at Lumpinee Stadium, he would be tasked with opening up the card for ONE Fight Night 26 in a strawweight Muay Thai clash with Danial Williams.
The 27-year-old was able to bounce back from his two-fight losing streak by going on to stop 'Mini T' in the second round.

As expected, the fight was a lot of fun whilst it lasted but with Williams fighting aggressively, he was unable to withstand the boxing and power of his opponent.
Thongpoon reflected on the victory during his in-ring interview with Mitch Chilson after getting his name read out at Lumpinee once again.
He believes that after studying his opponent, he knew what to expect from him in the second round where he got the finish:
"In the first round, I needed to know what kind of game plan that brought for me tonight, and on the second round, I felt I knew his game plan already so I used what I trained for this fight."
Thongpoon showed exactly who he is at ONE Fight Night 26
ONE Championship fans have become very used to seeing Thongpoon do his thing but for anyone that was tuning in for the first time, they got to see what he is all about.
The fight was incredibly entertaining but it's not smart to stand and trade punches with this particular strawweight.
It was never going to be Danial Williams' best path to victory and that showed as Thongpoon started to run away with the fight in the second before he secured the stoppage.
