Kiamran Nabati has become one of the surging bantamweight Muay Thai contenders in ONE Championship, as he was able to sweep all three of his opponents under the promotion since his debut in September 2023. He has scored wins over Pongsiri PK Saenchai via unanimous decision at ONE Friday Fights 35, Avatar PK Saenchai via unanimous decision at ONE Friday Fights 55, and Suablack Tor Pran49 via first-round knockout at ONE Friday Fights 58.
These victories have helped him become a relevant name in the weight class, and the world's largest martial arts organization gave him the biggest opportunity yet on Sept. 27 at ONE Friday Fights 81, when he will fight the former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Nong-O Hama.
They will throw hands inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Before that happens, the undefeated Russian contender spoke highly of the former divisional king during the ONE Friday Fights 81 virtual conference, as he said:
"I know he has dangerous things, and I know he's different, different things also. And Nong-O has experience with dangerous fighters. He has a lot of experience. I respect this guy and that's it."
