Filipino strawweight MMA sensation 'The Jaguar' Jeremy Miado says he knows exactly where his next fight will end up, and that's on the ground. Which is why the 31-year-old pinoy MMA veteran has shored up his grappling skills to prepare for a formidable foe in Japan's Hiroba Minowa.

In a recent interview with the YouTube channel The MMA Superfan, Miado says Minowa has shown stark improvement in the stand-up department. But he still believes the Japanese star will revert to his ground game when they meet in the ring next weekend.

"I watched all his fights and I followed his career in ONE. I know his striking improved immensely, especially in his last fight [vs Balart]. His boxing was impressive. Still, I know he prefers to take it to the ground."

A former Marrok Force fixture in Thailand for the past few years, Miado has since shifted his training camp back home to the Philippines, where he says he focused the majority of his preparations to get ready for Minowa's grappling.

After having dropped three straight, 'The Jaguar' knows this fight is a must-win, and he is prepared to give it everything he has to beat Minowa at his own game.
