Double-champ Christian Lee has returned with a target on his back.

After gracing ONE 167 as a cornerman-slash-coach for his youngest brother Adrian Lee in his triumphant pro-MMA debut and promotional bow over Antonio Mammarella, 'The Warrior' teased his return as a reigning king.

Speaking with Sportskeeda MMA at the sidelines of the sold-out event, the 25-year-old said he knew what he's up against, and how these up and coming challengers are eyeing for his throne.

He said:

"I think everybody is itching to get a hold of the lightweight and welterweight belts, and I know that they’ll be coming for me, so I’m training twice as hard in the gym every day, and I’m looking forward to facing each and everyone of them."

Eyeing a formidable foe as a possible opponent in former welterweight kingpin Zebaztian Kadestam, the Prodigy Training Center standout also welcomes other challengers, but they first need to prove themselves worthy.

Will the future contender for Christian Lee arise in ONE Fight Night 23?

Despite Christian Lee seems to have a tunnel vision on Zebaztian Kadestam as his next challenger, there is another dangerous foe lurking in the shadows.

And he may surface very, very soon.

South Korean standout and former lightweight MMA king Ok Rae Yoon recently marked himself as a favorite for the crown after bouncing back from a tough world title defeat in the hands of Lee.

Since then, Ok scored a dominant unanimous decision over game opponent Lowen Tynanes, at ONE Fight Night 10 in May last year.

This time, at ONE Fight Night 23 on July 5, Ok will return with vengeance in his mind to welcome a promotional newcomer Alibeg Rasulov, and if he can extend his win, the Team Mad representative could secure a ticket back into the world title contention.

Fans in the United States and Canada can catch ONE Fight Night 23 live in U.S. primetime for free with an active subscription to Amazon Prime Video.
