Christian Lee returns at ONE Fight Night 26

Christian Lee is a record holder in ONE Championship because of both the success that he has achieved and the amount of fights that he's had in the promotion.

The two-weight world champion has had some long breaks in activity as of late and currently hasn't competed in two years.

That changes at ONE Fight Night 26 when he returns to defend his lightweight title against Alibeg Rasulov on December 6 at Lumpinee Stadium.

Though Christian Lee would've liked to have been back sooner, the time away has come with some positives.

He's able to reflect on this time positively because in the early days of his career, time off wasn't something that he knew the meaning of.

Lee was incredibly active in the first few years that he spent in ONE Championship.

In a recent interview with Brian Campbell, he spoke about his return and how it has given him some balance in his life and career:

"I think the time off is good because fighting is a tough sport. I think everyone who's a professional fighter understands that. But for me, It's like I'm almost 10 years in the game as a professional fighter. When I first started my career, I wanted as many fights as I could, just back-to-back. I fought two times in a month my first year fighting. But you know, as the years go by, I learned to appreciate the time off."

Christian Lee has continued to progress forwards in this time

Another key reason why Christian Lee is able to look at his inactivity as a positive is the improvements that he has been able to make at this time.

His rise to the top happened so quickly that there wasn't a lot of time to stop, evaluate and make significant developments to his game.

He believes that when he steps inside Lumpinee Stadium on December 6, fans will see a new and improved version of 'The Warrior'.
