Tye Ruotolo has plenty of similarities with his twin brother and fellow ONE world champion Kade Ruotolo. While the pair of 21-year-olds may just be the most mellow personalities in combat sports today, Tye has often spoken about his sibling's inner fire - something that fans have also seen from time to time.

Speaking to ONE Championship, the reigning welterweight submission grappling world champion finally addressed the main difference between him and Kade.

Tye Ruotolo revealed:

"I let things fly until it's really affecting me. Kade, he checks s**t immediately, no matter what."

Truth be told, it all makes sense now. Tye exudes more of a laidback and silent energy, while Kade, obviously, has the more in-your-face aggressive approach.

However, make no mistake about it, these two are equally punishing when it's time to handle business on the mats.

Apart from their prodigious skills in 'The Gentle Art,' the Atos black belts are known for bringing a frenetic pace that overwhelms their opponents.

We've seen Kade Ruotolo bring that signature chaos in his MMA debut against Blake Cooper at ONE 167, where he choked Cooper out with relative ease.

Tye, on the other hand, will look to build off his brother's massive win with a victory of his own.

The youngest IBJJF black belt world champion will welcome Jozef Chen to the promotion at ONE Fight Night 23.

Tye Ruotolo versus Jozef Chen is a can't-miss scrap for grappling fans

On July 5, live at U.S. Primetime, Tye Ruotolo will look to keep his pristine ONE record intact against the equally prolific Jozef Chen in an 186-pound catchweight grappling-only affair.

As expected, the BJJ scene was ablaze by the announcement of this potential 10-minute banger at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The 19-year-old Chen, after all, also comes from the so-called new age of jiu-jitsu and is indeed a worthy adversary for Ruotolo.

Prime Video subscribers in North America can witness this epic showdown, along with the rest of ONE Fight Night 23, free of charge.
