Akbar Abdullaev is happy to let Tang Kai undermine what he brings to the table come ONE Fight Night 27.
Per the undefeated fighter, who challenges for the Chinese superstar's ONE featherweight MMA world title inside the Lumpinee Stadium, he prefers to let his performance do the talking.
Speaking to ONE Championship in the build-up to their main event tilt in Bangkok, Thailand, Akbar Abdullaev offered:
"I'm glad Tang Kai thinks my technique is weak, but I like to assert myself with action, not words."

He arrived in the promotion with plenty of hype and had lived up to his billing across three fights with as many highlight-reel moments.
The 27-year-old debuted with a first-round finish against Oh Ho Taek at ONE Fight Night 8 and returned four months later with another emphatic sub-minute TKO of Aaron Canarte.
Most recently, the Al Munar Team and Tiger Muay Thai star handed Halil Amir the first loss of his career at ONE Fight Night 22.

Given how well he matches up against Tang Kai, Akbar Abdullaev expects this five-round scrap to be a long night for both him and the defending world champion.
However, he thinks one thing will eventually determine who walks away with the victory on fight night in Thailand.
In the same interview, he added:
"The one who is hungrier will win this fight, I suppose. I will try to do my best to win."
