Newly-crowned ONE bantamweight Muay Thai king Superlek Kiatmoo9 says he's ready to go after Jonathan Haggerty again, but this time, for his kickboxing world title.

At ONE 168: Denver, 'The Kicking Machine' engaged in one of the most historic Muay Thai fights, featuring opposite Jonathan Haggerty at the Ball Arena in Colorado. The former underdog, who supposedly didn't have a shot against Haggerty, shocked the world with a stunning 49-second KO finish via elbow.

Landing that big shot transformed him into the new ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion. Now, with the momentum by his side, Superlek wants more. Speaking to Nick Atkin's ONE Championship news, he said:

"If there's a chance, Jonathan Haggerty is the champion of kickboxing. If there's a chance I would like to fight for it."

Superlek formerly entered the foray with a lot of pressure on his shoulders. Coming from the flyweight division to test Haggerty's dominant defenses led many to doubt that he could secure a second undisputed championship. But not Superlek. He stayed patient, waiting for the right moment to strike, and that's exactly how he did it.

"#1 nak muay on the planet" - Thai fans hail Superlek as the greatest Muay Thai striker in the world following Jonathan Haggerty's KO at ONE 168

Superlek Kiatmoo9 is not only the ONE flyweight kickboxing kingpin, but he's also the new bantamweight Muay Thai world champion as well. In our books, he is the best pound-for-pound striker across two major divisions.

Superlek extended his unbeaten streak to 11 in defeating Jonathan Haggerty for the second time. Their first fight in 2018 ended in referee interference, with Superlek taking the TKO victory after the doctors deemed Haggerty unsuitable to fight due to a cut.

However, with Superlek's outstanding performance in Denver, he proved that he is truly the top dog of Muay Thai.

This week, Thai fans showered Superlek with messages of love and support in the comments section of his Instagram posts.

One of the comments read:
