BJJ standout Bruno Pucci has hit a rough patch of late but he has made it known that his mindset of taking risks during matches, even against high-level opponents, hasn't changed. He vows to bring the same aggressive approach when he returns to action next month.

'Puccibull' is featured in a lightweight submission grappling contest against ONE Championship-debuting Dante Leon of Canada at ONE Fight Night 26: Lee vs. Rasulov on Dec. 6 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. It will be his first match since November 2022.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Bruno Pucci reiterated the he will be coming into his match against grappling ace Leon as the risk-taker that he is, saying:

"I like to scramble. I like to go for the finish. I try to finish. If possible, to do it fast. Sometimes it doesn't come or it doesn't go my way because once you try to attack, you can leave some opening behind. But, you know, I try to go forward, and I don't save too much."

Bruno Pucci excited to test grappling ace Dante Leon

Bruno Pucci is looking forward to his scheduled showdown against Canadian powerhouse Dante Leon at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6 and test the latter's all-around grappling prowess.

He shared this in the same interview with ONE Championship, taking note of what the skill set of his opponent is and how he plans to counter it.

The veteran Brazilian fighter said:

"[Leon is] very well-rounded. He can wrestle. He has submission attacks. He also passes strong. He's pretty complete, as he should be as a black belt."

He added:

"But I think, for this match, what I'm playing is the ring experience and the boundaries. I wanna see how that's gonna play out, and I'm excited for that. And, yeah, he's a strong opponent."

ONE Fight Night 26 will see Pucci make his submission grappling debut under ONE Championship after competing in MMA in his first 10 matches in the promotion.
