“I like his style” - Danial Williams says he is a fan of Thongpoon PK Saenchai’s brand of violence

Multi-sport combat athlete and former ONE world title challenger 'Mini T' Danial Williams of Australia and Thailand could not be more excited to step inside the ONE Championship ring for his next fight, and it's because of the man he's set to go up against.

Williams is set to go to war with Thai action star Thongpoon PK Saenchai, and fans expect this to open the show with an exciting clash of ultra-aggressive strawweights.

Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Williams shared his thoughts on Thongpoon as an opponent, and says he is thrilled to be facing such an exciting fighter.

The 31-year-old Kao Sok Muay Thai and Scrappy MMA product stated:

"I’m a fan of [Thongpoon]. I like his style. I think we’ll make a good fight because we’re both risk-takers. So it’s gonna be a lot of entertainment for this fight."

Thongpoon is known as one of the most aggressive and offense-oriented fighters in the world's largest martial arts organization, but so is Williams. Which is why this matchup has all the makings of an instant classic.
