Liam Harrison revealed when he plans to fight in ONE Championship again.
On Sept. 6, Harrison fought in an instant classic Muay Thai bout against Seksan Or Kwanmuang. The living legends battled in the ONE 168: Denver co-main event, with Seksan emerging victorious by second-round knockout.
Following his respectable defeat, Harrison announced his retirement from combat sports. Several months later, the 39-year-old accepted an offer from ONE Championship that he couldn't refuse, solidifying his return for 2025.
During an interview with ONE, Harrison had this to say about a general timeline for his return to the home of martial arts:

“Retirement was to be the plan, but they can’t keep me away. So in March, I’m fighting in Manchester on Hitman Fight League for the WBC Diamond Belt. I’m a former WBC World Champion. And then I’ll be back in ONE around the summertime."
Hitman Fight League is a promotion started by Liam Harrison. On March 8, 2025, Harrison will headline an event for his promotion as a "Last Dance" in Manchester, England. 'Hitman' is scheduled to fight Isaac Araya for a WBC Diamond belt.
Araya fought in ONE Championship once, suffering a second-round knockout against Seksan in August 2023.
Liam Harrison's run in ONE Championship
Liam Harrison made his ONE Championship debut in December 2018. Things didn't start as planned for the U.K. superstar, suffering consecutive losses in the featherweight Muay Thai division against Petchmorakot Petchyindee and Rodlek PK Saenchai.
At the start of 2020, Harrison moved down to bantamweight, securing back-to-back first-round knockouts against Mohammed Bin Mahmoud and Muangthai PK Saenchai.
In August 2022, 'Hitman' earned a bantamweight Muay Thai title shot against then-world champion Nong-O Hama. Harrison endured a first-round TKO loss due to leg kicks, with the damage forcing him to overcome a lengthy recovery.
Two years later, Harrison returned at ONE 168: Denver to face Seksan. The 39-year-old may have suffered a knockout loss, but fans won't soon forget the entertaining war they had in North America.
It's unclear what Harrison's goals are moving forward in ONE Championship. At the very least, fans can expect relentless aggression and pure violence from the former three-time Muay Thai world champion.
