Former two-division MMA king Aung La N Sang says he won't give Shamil Erdogan the time of day when they finally collide this Friday.

'The Burmese Python' will battle undefeated middleweight MMA contender Shamil Erdogan in a potential world title eliminator bout on US soil at ONE 168, which broadcasts live from the Ball Arena in Colorado.

While at the heels of a very important fight, Aung La remains calm before the storm. After spending countless hours training in all aspects of MMA, the Myanmar icon can say for certain that he's well-equipped to hand Erdogan his first career loss in masterclass fashion.

Speaking with Nick Atkin in his pre-event interview, Aung La predicted the following outcome for Erdogan:

"What's gonna happen? I'm gonna break him in three rounds. I'll break him, and it's gonna be a tough fight, but we're ready for everything."

Over the last year and a half, Aung La N Sang has dominated his four opponents en route to stoppages. He's always hunting for the knockout but can also be a dangerous finisher on the ground.

If Shamil Erdogan takes this fight down, it's more than likely that he'll underestimate Aung La's grappling talents.

Tickets for ONE 168: Denver are available via Ticketmaster. The full event is free for Prime Video subscribers in North America.

"It will be an interesting fight" - Triple champ Anatoly Malykhin intrigued to watch the middleweight showdown between Aung La N Sang and Shamil Erdogan

Three-division world champion 'Sladkiy' Anatoly Malykhin is truly invested in how Aung La N Sang and Shamil Erdogan adapt their fighting styles to find the finish at ONE 168.

The Russian superstar has his own world title fight to think about, which takes place against 'Reug Reug' Oumar Kane in November at ONE 169: Atlanta, but that doesn't mean that he won't stop and watch middleweight legend Aung La attempt to make his rise again in ONE Championship.

On the other hand, he is familiar with Erdogan's wrestling-heavy acumen. They competed against each other in wrestling before, which means that Erdogan will be a tough competitor against Aung La.

Consolidating all the factors, Malykhin is divided between 'The Burmese Python' and his fellow Russian stalwart. He told ONE:

"It will be an interesting fight! I think the one who imposes his fight plan on the opponent will win."
