Jacob Smith plans to keep things simple in the biggest fight of his career at ONE 169 on Nov. 8. That evening, inside the iconic Lumpinee Stadium, the Bad Company and Thaifist man will attempt to take the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title from Rodtang Jitmuangnon's grasp.
Although he knows it'll be a tough night at the office, Jacob Smith thinks his best bet is to not overcomplicate things. Speaking on his plan to get his hand raised in Bangkok, Thailand, the 32-year-old told Combat Sports Today:
"What I need to do to beat him? I'll just stick to the plan and nothing more. Then I know I'd be winning the fight. Everything else that comes will just be amazing and a bonus."
Whether or not the British striker can use that strategy and emerge victorious remains to be seen. That said, entertainment is all but guaranteed every time the Brit steps into action.

Despite dropping two fights in the world's largest martial arts organization — against Rodtang and Denis Puric — the No.3-ranked flyweight Muay Thai contender has never failed to put on a show.
That is something fans can expect from the brilliant Englishman once more when he runs it back with Rodtang, this time for the flyweight crown, at ONE 169.
