Shamil Erdogan looks totally unfazed in front of one of the strongest fighters in the history of ONE Championship.

Clashing with Aung La N Sang in the stacked ONE 168: Denver card when the promotion returns to U.S. soil for the second time, Erdogan is looking for a quick finish when they both go head-to-head inside the Ball Arena on Sept. 6.

Furthermore, the undefeated Turkish powerhouse firmly believes he's at a level above his Burmese foe, and he intends to prove himself.

Indeed, the best way to do it is through a fast, perfect KO, which will not only boost his status as the person who knocks out Aung La N Sang but could also lead to Chatri Sityodtong's $10,000 performance bonus.

Speaking to ONE Championship earlier, Erdogan said:

“I don’t think the fight will last three rounds. Inshallah, I’ll take him down in the second round. I plan to finish the fight in the stand-up as I need the bonus. I want to ask Mr. Chatri to be ready."

He added:

"I’ll KO him for the bonus.”

Shamil Erdogan and Aung La N Sang will be part of the electric ONE 168: Denver card, live in U.S. primetime and free of charge to Amazon Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.

Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.

Shamil Erdogan sees Aung La N Sang as "another obstacle to something bigger"

Undefeated powerhouse Shamil Erdogan thinks that he will be able to blast through Aung La N Sang to aim for something bigger in his career trajectory at the moment.

Erdogan understands that Aung La N Sang is not someone to be downplayed, but the 34-year-old believes that if he takes victory, he will have more possibilities in the future, including facing the 205-pound kingpin Anatoly Malykhin.

In fact, he told ONE in an exclusive interview:

"Defeating him means nothing to me. It's just another obstacle to something bigger. I hope to get a fight for the ONE belt soon after this one."
