Liam Harrison has accumulated so much experience during his long career at the top of striking sports.

'Hitman' has adapted to a lot of different scenarios that his career has led him into and he's evolved as a result.

Having come into the sport when it was nothing like it is today, Harrison has some wild stories about what it was like to travel the world and fight in the early days.

Now, he's a strict professional who has gone through a long recovery process to get himself back and ready to compete.

His comeback fight comes with another precaution that cannot be ignored because of the impact that it can have on an athlete's performance.

Fighting at the Ball Arena in Denver means competing at elevation but the Brit has taken the right steps to prepare for this.

Harrison spoke in an interview with the South China Morning Post about the steps that he has taken ahead of September 6. He said:

"I'm lucky I found an altitude chamber not far from my house. So Denver is at 1600 meters, I've been training about 2000 to 2500 meters to get myself ready for when I get there. I've been in it three times this week, I'm gonna go again tonight, so that's four. I'm going to go in every day next week. So I'll be ready when I get there."

Liam Harrison wants to bring his best version to Denver

Liam Harrison has not gone through the long months of recovering from his injury and having his comeback postponed just to overlook something like competing at elevation.

'Hitman' was fueled at this time by wanting to end his career by going out on his shield, rather than announcing that he was retiring whilst being unable to do what he does best.

His clash with Seksan Or Kwanmuang sees him finally get his wish and now that the moment is here, Harrison is more than ready to go.
