Joe Rogan, Jon Anik, and Daniel Cormier were in the foreground of the commentary booth at the latest UFC pay-per-view but a certain background figure caught the attention of many on Oct. 5.
The commentators at UFC 307 put in a great night of broadcasting work and as is customary for MMA events, some electric moments caused the broadcasters to leave their seats in excitement. X user @JusticeCraash posted a clip of someone on the production team sliding Anik's chair underneath him as he stood up in a fight-related fervor to punctuate the call.
This was a clip that was later shared to an Instagram account known as @thejrecompanion and several users took to the comment section to have their say.

Instances of Joe Rogan being excited on UFC commentary
Joe Rogan has always been known for his passion when calling the sport of mixed martial arts but some UFC calls have stood out more than others. A call that many regard is the Rogan vs. The Ice Spill from UFC 109. This took place on the preliminary portion of the February 2010 card in between rounds of the Melvin Guillard and Ronys Torres fight.
A large amount of ice had spilled into the corner of Torres with everyone from the cornermen to the referees clamoring to clean it. The passion with which Rogan discussed these men clumsily trying to clean ice from the octagon was more entertaining than it had any right being and many still discuss it years later.
The 57-year-old also conveys a lot of passion during big comeback moments such as when Tim Boetsch halted Yushin Okami in the final round of a fight he had been handily losing before the big KO. This example also shone through during the rematch with Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Frank Mir.
Mir had been seriously rocked with strikes before snapping Big Nog's arm to end off the fight as Rogan shouted in disbelief at the rapid momentum shift. The New Jersey native has been a part of several iconic calls that have brought him out of his seat which explains why UFC has enlisted the service of this chair operator.
