Jackie Buntan would much rather let her fists do the talking.
Following a big win over Martine Michieletto in her 2024 return, the Boxing Works star will look to claim her first 26 pounds of ONE Championship gold when she meets seven-time titleholder Anissa Meksen for the inaugural ONE women's strawweight kickboxing world title.
Buntan vs. Meksen will be one of three massive title fights as ONE Championship delivered the biggest combat sports card of the year so far—ONE 169—inside the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

In the weeks leading up to their highly anticipated clash, things have been relatively quiet between the two stars.
Speaking with ONE ahead of fight night, Buntan made it clear that trash talk is something she can break out if necessary, but she'd much rather do her talking inside the Circle:
"Look, I leave it as like, I'm definitely not the one to go on and run my mouth, you know. If it's needed, it's needed, but I have a lot of patience in myself to know when to hold back."
Jackie Buntan looks to keep her unbeaten streak alive against the always dangerous Anissa Meksen
Jackie Buntan goes into her ONE title fight against 'C18' with a solid 6-1 record under the ONE Championship banner, her lone loss coming against former ONE strawweight Muay Thai queen Smilla Sundell.
Since then, Buntan has strung together a trio of noteworthy wins against Amber Kitchen, Aussie standout Diandra Martin, and the aforementioned Martine Michieletto.
As for Anissa Meksen, the French-Algerian fighter will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing loss against Phetjeeja in their critically acclaimed kickboxing bout in December. In Muay Thai competition under the ONE banner, 'C18' is unbeaten with wins over Marie Ruumet and Dangkongfah Banchamek.
