There aren't many things that ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 has yet to accomplish in his career. As one of the elite strikers around today, the Thai star has been there and done it all, for the most part.

At ONE 168, he will be looking to tick off a few firsts at the same time when he competes in the main event at the Ball Arena in Denver.

Sept. 6 not only sees him move up to the bantamweight division to challenge Jonathan Haggerty for his Muay Thai world championship, but the two men will headline the huge US card on Sept. 6.

Though this may be his first time fighting in front of this crowd, 'The Kicking Machine' has experienced the United States several times before. He spoke in a recent interview with ONE Championship about his positive past experiences when visiting during his seminar tours:

"I love the people there and the weather. I feel like they're very passionate about martial arts and Muay Thai, too. I've been to the US a few times for seminars. I enjoyed teaching and seeing the excitement from the US fans."

Superlek can adapt to any scenario

Even if this was his first time in the United States, it would be hard to phase a competitor like Superlek Kiatmoo9.

This was evident in his first outing of the year at ONE 165 where he stepped in as a replacement opponent for the injured Rodtang to face Takeru Segawa at the Ariake Arena in Japan.

'The Kicking Machine' is a world-class striker and it takes a lot to throw him off his game, which is exactly what Jonathan Haggerty will attempt to do on Sept. 6 when they come face-to-face for the first time under the ONE banner.

Tickets for ONE 168: Denver are available via Ticketmaster.
