“I don’t know how long [Reinier] de Ridder is going to be out for since his last fight. I would love to stay active. Keep it going if I can. Keep improving and keep getting better. Maybe put me in March and maybe I can fight him in May in the Denver show.”

Not too long ago, Aung La held both the middleweight and light heavyweight belts before losing them both to former rising star ‘The Dutch Knight’ Reinier de Ridder. He came close once again to another world title opportunity before losing to Russian powerhouse Vitaly Bigdash at ONE: Full Circle.
Feeling like he’s regained momentum after a nine-month layoff, Aung La N Sang doesn’t want to sit out too long before his next fight:
“Why not? I’m healthy. When I spar, I spar so hard anyways with heavyweights, I might as well make money. I’m in this sport because I love it, for no other reason. I was a fan first, so when I fight I want the fans to enjoy it too. “
Aung La N Sang reacts to Stamp Fairtex calling herself his “No. 1 fan”
ONE superstar Stamp Fairtex offered her congratulations to Aung La N Sang for his stunning victory last Friday.
It goes without saying that she looks up to the MMA veteran as a mentor and inspiration. They both met each other during fight week while they made their final preparations for their upcoming battles.
Even though Stamp’s original plans to face Anissa Meksen fell through, she still made an appearance. She fought at strawweight under the kickboxing ruleset, for the first time since 2021, to face Anna ‘Supergirl’ Jaroonsak.
Delivering a show just as thrilling as Aung La’s, Stamp offered her congratulations to her fellow victor as she prided herself on being his No. 1 fan. Here’s how Aung La reacted to her comments with SCMP MMA below:
“She’s so sweet, Stamp’s so sweet. Nothing but the best for Stamp and she deserves everything she has as well.”
