Fabricio Andrade has been out of action for a significant amount of time. Still, he doesn't believe that will affect him in his return at ONE 170.
The Brazilian martial artist has been incredibly impressive since signing with ONE Championship, where his winning streak in the bantamweight MMA division led to him becoming a world champion.
Along that streak, 'Wonder Boy' stopped Kwon Won Il in the first round to cement himself as the top contender in the division, going on to defeat John Lineker for the title.
Andrade is now set to face off with the South Korean contender in a rematch at ONE 170 on Jan. 24 in what will be his first world title defense.

Due to injuries, some time off and a kickboxing diversion, it has been nearly two full years since the last time that the 27-year-old competed in MMA.
This could easily be a cause for concern when trying to break down the fight because we don't know what version of Fabricio Andrade we will get.
He assured Nick Atkin in a fight week interview that when he steps inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, on fight night, he will be at the top of his game:
"Yeah, 100 percent, you know. Even though I wasn't fighting, but in that time I was training a lot and improving in my striking and my grappling, and now I feel like I'm in the best shape that I have ever been."

Fabricio Andrade could begin a new chapter
The idea of seeing a better and more refined Fabricio Andrade at ONE 170 is an exciting prospect indeed.
He has already proven himself to be an incredibly talented mixed martial artist but at just 27 years old, it makes sense that he's still getting better.
Kwon Won Il is confident that the result will be different this time around but even he won't know exactly what to expect from Andrade.
