Anissa Meksen knows what she wants next after redeeming herself at ONE Friday Fights 92. It's been a rocky road for 'C18' as of late, who failed to capture 26 pounds of gold in world title bouts against Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom and Jackie Buntan, respectively.
The French-Algerian, though, showcased the true heart of a champion by returning to the win column in a masterclass performance against Kana Morimoto last Friday, Dec. 20, inside the fabled grounds of Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Meksen proved she is still a force to be reckoned with in the women's striking ranks, dominating the Japanese star from start to finish en route to a decisive unanimous decision victory.

Asked what's next after redeeming herself, Anissa Meksen revealed she only wants world title bouts moving forward or she might decide to ride off into the sunset.
The multi-time Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion shared during her ONE Friday Fights 92 post-event interview:
"I don't know yet. For me, I'm the champion without the crown. So I'm waiting for something good. If nothing good happens, I think I will retire. Simple."

Anissa Meksen says MMA transition is a possibility
Anissa Meksen will still give any female fighter in the world a run for her money. However, the 36-year-old admits to being intrigued by a possible transition to mixed martial arts.
Given her incredible striking ability, 'C18' should bode well in MMA and could be a contender right away.
The Phulet Fight Club affiliate told ONE:
"I can fight in Muay Thai, kickboxing - it’s all the same for me. But maybe I want to try MMA because I’ve been training in MMA for four years, so why not make my debut?"
