Kiamran Nabati is ready to disrupt the murderer's row of talent in the stacked bantamweight Muay Thai rankings. He plans to do that by making a massive statement at ONE Friday Fights 81, against the division's former long-time ruler Nong-O Hama.

The Russian destroyer will look to take the Thai legend's third spot in rankings this coming Friday, Sept. 27, in the Thai's backyard at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

In an interview with the South China Morning Post, Nabati sent a frightening warning not just to Nong-O, but the rest of the division as well. He said:

"I’m here and I’m going to take this belt. I’m coming for everybody in the top five. See you soon."

After grinding out decision wins over Pongsiri PK Saenchai and Avatar PK Saenchai, Kiamran Nabati showed how terrifying he can be against Suablack Tor Pran49 at ONE Friday Fights 68 last June.

The Archangel Michel representative needed less than a round to dispatch his favored Thai opponent with a chilling knockout.

After collecting a well-deserved $100,000 contract from ONE, Nabati wants to take his career to even greater heights by adding an icon to his hitlist.

An emphatic win over Nong-O will certainly put his name in contention for the bantamweight Muay Thai crown. ONE Friday Fights 81 will air live in Asian primetime via watch.onefc.com

Kiamran Nabati targeting even bigger names if he beats Nong-O

As much as Kiamran Nabati wants a piece of the division's new overlord Superlek Kiatmoo9 next, he knows there's a queue for that belt.

If he does get past Nong-O, the 29-year-old hopes to compete in a title eliminator bout against some of the biggest names in the top 5.

Nabati said in the same SCMP interview:

"Now, I’m only focused on this fight. After I win the fight, that’s when I can say give me Jonathan Haggerty, or Nico Carrillo, or Nabil [Anane]. We will see."
