Boxing promoter Frank Warren expressed his disappointment with the judging in Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury 2. Usyk defeated Fury for the second consecutive time, in the fight that took place on Dec. 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Although Fury started the fight strong, effectively using his physical attributes and a jab, Usyk managed to shift the momentum as the rounds progressed. He emerged victorious by unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring the bout 116-112 in his favor, allowing him to retain the WBA, WBC, WBO, IBO and The Ring heavyweight titles.

In an interview with TNT Sports after the fight, Warren, the founder of Queensberry Promotions, criticized the scorecards and objected to the judges awarding most of the later rounds to Usyk.

"I'm dumbfounded. They gave him four rounds, out of twelve rounds, which is impossible. I mean, I've been around a long time and I know I am biased. But one judge couldn't give him any round from Round 6 onwards. Not one round! How can that be? That's impossible."

He added:

"Same with the other judge here. He gave him one round out of the last six. And then same here with this guy. It's crazy. I'm calm and collected. I'm not screaming and shouting. But that is just nonsense."

Frank Warren on Tyson Fury's state of mind after the defeat: "He's disappointed"

In the aforementioned interaction with TNT Sports, Frank Warren shared his thoughts on Tyson Fury's state of mind after suffering the defeat. Highlighting that Fury worked extremely hard to prepare for the rematch, Warren said:

"He's disappointed. You lose, you lose, and that's it. That's the business." [1:41]

He added:

"He's gutted. He thought he won it. Of course, we are biased. But I am not stupid biased. I'm saying from what I'm looking at. I don't know what he wants to do. I don't even going to get into that... It was a good boxing performance by him. He used all his physical attributes, he stayed focused." [2:15]

The latest loss marks the second defeat of Fury's professional boxing career. His first defeat also came against Oleksandr Usyk when he lost the heavyweight title unification bout by split decision in May.
