29-year-old Brazilian jiu-jitsu star and former two-time IBJJF no gi world champion Dante Leon of Canada has had nothing but positive things to say about Thailand after having competed there for ONE Championship in December.
Leon made his debut in the world's largest martial arts organization at Lumpinee Stadium, beating Bruno Pucci via submission and taking home a $50,000 bonus for his efforts.
The Canadian grappler says he fell in love with Thailand after all the festivities.

He told Jits Magazine in a recent interview:
"I was just there a couple weeks ago. So it feels good to come back. It feels good to get out there before and have a match. I kind of saw the lay of the land, and I kind of know what to expect. I love Thailand. I had a great impression with it, and to go back to some place like that with 20 hours of travel, only five weeks in between the matches, or four weeks in between the matches, it seems like a lot, but I'm excited to go back. I'm excited to see Thailand again."
Leon returns to Bangkok for his next ONE Championship match.
