“I'm going to assist him the best I can” – Adrian Lee says he’ll support brother Christian in re-opening family gym

18-year-old Singaporean-American martial arts prodigy 'The Phenom' Adrian Lee is throwing his full support behind the reopening of the Lee family gym. Hawaii's United MMA was shut down permanently at the end of 2022 following the tragic death of former ONE Championship athlete 'The Prodigy' Victoria Lee, who is Adrian's older sister.

Now under new leadership, United MMA has been rebranded into Prodigy Training Center in Victoria's honor. The facility will be managed by reigning ONE lightweight and welterweight MMA world champion 'The Warrior' Christian Lee.

Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Adrian said he is excited for the family gym to open its doors again.

'The Phenom' stated:

"What was once United MMA is now Prodigy Training Center, and that will be the gym that I'll be fighting out of. My role? I will be an instructor here, but I will also just be continuously training under my father [Ken] and my brother [Christian]."

Lee continued:

"Yeah, my brother is still going to be the head coach and head instructor here, but I'm just going to try to assist him the best I can."

Lee says he will honor his late sister Victoria's memory by doing his best in his career as he makes his first appearance in the Circle next week.
