Former ONE featherweight kickboxing world title challenger Marat Grigorian is back in the win column after knocking out Abdelali Zahidi in the second round of their kickboxing battle last Dec. 20 at ONE Friday Fights 92. Grigorian sent his Moroccan foe to the shadow realm with an atomic right hand in front of a packed Lumpinee Stadium crowd in Bangkok, Thailand.
It was his fifth victory in eight outings under the promotion and his fourth TKO/KO finish. Following this latest triumph, seasoned journalist Nick Atkin interviewed the Armenian striking powerhouse, and the two spoke about Superbon's upcoming matchup against Tawanchai PK Saenchai for the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title.
Grigorian sent his best wishes to the reigning ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion for his impending match, but hinted that he wants to face him again, as he stated:
"I'm looking forward and I wish him good luck, you know. And, of course, I'm going back for it."
