ONE atomweight MMA contender Alyse Anderson only sees one outcome in her pivotal clash with Victoria Souza this Friday, Sept. 6 at ONE 168: Denver.
'Lil Savage' is expecting to repay the support of her fellow Americans by getting a much-needed victory inside 'The Mile High City's' Ball Arena.
With less than a week left before Anderson returns to the circle, she told ONE about pushing herself in training camp, which makes her extremely confident for this match:
"I don't want to put an exact prediction on it. I just know that I'm going to come out on top because of the work I've been putting in."

Ideally, though, the 29-year-old grappling specialist wants to take this fight right into her wheelhouse and force Souza to yield. She added:
"But I'll probably end up getting a submission with how much grappling I've been working."
In hindsight, 'Vick' can also handle herself on the ground pretty well, as evidenced by her one-round guillotine choke finish of Itsuki Hirata at ONE 167 in June.
Anderson also knows a thing or two about submitting foes. The MMA Masters standout performed a suffocating triangle choke against Asha Roka back in 2022.

Alyse Anderson has redemption on her mind
Alyse Anderson failed to get her hand raised the last time she competed on US soil. The American stalwart suffered a setback against Stamp Fairtex at the historic ONE Fight Night 10 event last year.
Anderson certainly wants to rectify that mistake and get the W this time around against Souza.

"Next Friday I'm going to put on a show at #ONE168 at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado."
