If there's a person who brings lots of fireworks, that is Liam Harrison.
The British Muay Thai legend is known to produce many highlight reels with his knockout power and swag. And although he hasn't fought since August 2022 due to a severe knee injury, he wants to prove that he is still the same person as he was.
This time, Harrison will go head-to-head against a Japanese rising star Katsuki Kitano at ONE 167, on Friday, June 7.

Speaking to ONE Championship, 'Hitman' said:
"I wanna come back and show the fans that I’ve still got what it takes to hang at the top level.”
He added:
“It’s only going one way. I’m going to knock him out. I want to make a statement. That’s what the crowd wants to see – the ‘Hitman’ of old.
Nonetheless, after the long road to recovery and intensive training to put himself back in a fighting mode, the Brit is oozing with confidence that he will take the victory from the Japanese's hands.
Katsuki Kitano vows flawless victory, shutting Liam Harrison up at ONE 167
On the other hand, Katsuki Kitano does not want to be a pushover, although he is aware that Liam Harrison is a Muay Thai legend on its own.
Ahead of their fight at ONE 167: Tawanchai vs. Nattawut II in U.S. primetime on Friday, June 7, from Bangkok's Impact Arena, Kitano spoke to ONE Championship and stated that there is no other way but a knockout.
He said:
"I have to get the KO. That will put my name out there. I'm going for the knockout."
While this is indeed a tall ask, it would be interesting to see how Kitano can achieve such a feat – knocking out a war-tested veteran in Harrison who loves to brawl and possesses massive KO power of his own.
This intriguing fight will be available live and free for fans in the United States and Canada with their Prime Video subscription.
