Returning Muay Thai fighter Liam Harrison is excited to mix it up once again next month in the United States against fellow veteran Seksan Or Kwanmuang. He even touts it as among the exciting fights of the year for their aggressive style of fighting.

'Hitman', who was last in action in August 2022 when he injured his knee, will battle 'The Man Who Yields To No One' in a featured catchweight (140 pounds) Muay Thai showdown at ONE 168 in Denver, Colorado, on Sept. 6.

It is part of the event happening at the Ball Arena and airing live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.

In an interview with ONE Championship in line with his long-awaited return to action, Liam Harrison shared his mindset and what to expect from him against Seksan, saying:

"I just see it being one of the fights of the year. He's one of my heores and I've always wanted to share the ring with him, so I'm going to make the most of it. Both fighters are going to put everything on the line and the best man will win on the night."

Liam Harrison got hurt during his bid for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title against former divisional king Nong-O Hama. He tried to make an earlier comeback but was not confident that he was fully healed. This time around it is all systems go for him, healthwise, and he is ready to get back in the swing of things.

Liam Harrison seeks to pick up where he left off

It took a while for Liam Harrison to make his way back from a knee injury but now that he is up and about, he is ready to pick up where he left off.

The 38-year-old Englishman competes once again after two years at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6 and is looking to make it a winning return over fellow veteran fighter Seksan Or Kwanmuang.

In an interview with Sky Sports MMA Club, 'Hitman' spoke about the tough journey he had to be back at this point of competing once again and how he intends to take full advantage of it and return to his ways as a fighter.

Liam Harrison said:

"I thought I was close to recover and then I started training for a fight ... and my knee started ballooning up ... I had some extra treatments and stuff now. I've had my rehab and my knee is fine now. My body is starting to feel like it did a few years before the injury. I feel strong, fast and sharp."

Looking to provide a rude welcome back to Liam Harrison at ONE 168: Denver is Seksan, who is seeking to bounce back after seeing his impressive eight-fight winning streak in ONE Championship come to an end in his last match in April.
