Interim strawweight MMA world champion Jarred Brooks vows to live up to his nickname in his highly awaited flyweight debut at ONE Fight Night 26: Lee vs. Rasulov on Prime Video.
'The Monkey God' plans to latch onto Reece McLaren and manhandle him using his freakish strength this coming Friday, Dec. 6, inside 'The Mecca of Muay Thai' Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
A big Clint Eastwood fan, the charismatic Brooks even cited one of the actor's most famous movies, to sum up how he'll dominate 'Lightning' once they finally share the ring. The Mash Fight Team Affiliate told the Bangkok Post:
"Reece McLaren, I am going to finish you any which way but loose. And if you haven't watched that Clint Eastwood movie, I suggest it. And it has a good monkey in it. But I'm going to be a monkey on your back, bro. And you can't get me off."

McLaren hasn't been shy of matching Jarred Brooks' trash-talk in the lead-up to this potential world title eliminator at 125 pounds. The Aussie has poked fun at the American's diminutive stature, calling him "too small and too short" for the division.
Jarred Brooks certainly didn't take this lightly and vowed to make him pay, adding:
"I think that in that three rounds I will finish you and I will earn your respect and that's all I want."
