Tye Ruotolo continued the incredible winning streak of both he and his brother this past weekend at ONE Fight Night 23. Both Tye and Kade are undefeated since stepping foot inside ONE Championship for the first time and their careers have only continued to climb ever since.
The welterweight submission grappling world champion came out on top once again in a non-title catchweight contest against Jozef Chen inside Lumpinee Stadium.
Despite everything that he has accomplished so far in his career, Tye is very adamant about his work not being done.
He wants there to be no doubt that he is the best grappler in the world regardless of weight class and this fuels his every move.

The elite competitor spoke about this in his post-event interview on July 5:
"So I'm happy to get this win in jiu-jitsu. One more for the legacy. My legacy is not done. I want to be the best in the world of jiu-jitsu. No questions, no matter what. I know I'm on my way. I think right now, we're probably considered the best, my brother and I, for sure. But I want to be pound-for-pound, the best in the world. So I'm not going to stop until I get that."

Tye Ruotolo continues to impress each time out
Tye Ruotolo did come away from ONE Fight Night 23 with some regrets about his performance. On one hand, both brothers are always disappointed to have come away without a finish each time they compete.
On the other, he was able to secure a decisive win against a highly regarded opponent despite being, by his own admission, far from his physical peak.
The best in the world don't necessarily need to be firing on all cylinders to find a way to win and that's exactly what happened in Tye's latest outing.
