Stamp Fairtex is taking things one day at a time but is confident she'll be back and better than ever before long.
In June, Stamp was scheduled to defend her ONE atomweight MMA world championship against Denice Zamboanga at ONE 167 in Bangkok. Unfortunately, the fight was scrapped after Stamp suffered a nasty knee injury during one of her final sparring sessions ahead of fight night.
“One of her final sparring sessions prepping for the big event in a couple of weeks, she blew out her knee," ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong told MMA Fighting in May. "80 percent of her meniscus was torn off her knee, and it was on a nasty takedown where her leg got caught."

Stamp underwent a successful surgery shortly after sustaining the injury and has been on the road to recovery ever since. Offering fans an update via the Fairtex Training Center YouTube channel, Stamp said:
"I feel like, I’m back. So now, if everything recovers 100%, I will focus, pay attention, and yeah, I’m gonna be better every day."
