Adrian Lee couldn't have wished for a grander stage to return to action and is grateful that ONE Championship has given him the global platform he needs to continue developing as a martial artist.
The Singaporean-American star picked up his second straight win in the promotion at the expense of Nico Cornejo at ONE 168: Denver last Friday, submitting him with a rear-naked choke at the 2:37 mark of the contest.
While pleased to continue his impressive run, the Prodigy Training Center star gave a shoutout to the promotion for letting him live his dream.

Adrian Lee had this to say during a post-fight press conference on Sept. 6:
"I haven't always thought like, specifically I would get this chance and everything. But I'm very grateful for the opportunity that ONE has given me to showcase my skills."
He debuted in the world's largest martial arts organization at ONE 167 in June.
There, 'The Phenom' saw off a stiff challenge from Australian standout Antonio Mammarella with the same submission maneuver – a rear-naked choke — to get his pro career and promotional campaign off to a flyer.
Whatever the future holds for the young gun, Lee should continue impressing as he works his way up the lightweight MMA division of the promotion.

Adrian Lee says he left no stone unturned for Nico Cornejo fixture at ONE 168
Although he made his US$50,000 performance bonus-winning display look relatively easy, Adrian Lee admits it was all down to the hard work that he put in throughout fight camp alongside his brother, two-divison MMA world champion Christian, and father, Ken.
In the same session, the teenager added:
"It's been a great week. This entire fight camp has been amazing with my brother and my dad as my coach. You know, we worked so hard for this fight, and I'm so happy it went the way it went."
