Former ONE flyweight MMA world title challenger and third-ranked contender 'The King' Danny Kingad of the Philippines is finally getting the match that he thinks he deserves, and the 28-year-old Baguio City native can't wait to tango with an old foe.
Kingad is set to face former divisional king 'Mikinho' Adriano Moraes of Brazil in a pivotal flyweight MMA showdown later this year, and he can't wait to step into the Circle with his arch-nemesis.
In a recent interview with the YouTube channel MMA Superfan, Kingad shared his thoughts on the rematch with Moraes.

'The King' said:
"I was really surprised when they offered me Adriano. I’m happy that they gave me a chance to bounce back and now I’m just enjoying my training. I’m really happy because this is an early birthday gift for me."

Filipino flyweight MMA star 'The King' Danny Kingad says he wants to shock the world by stopping former flyweight MMA king 'Mikinho' Adriano Moraes when they meet in a rematch at ONE 169: Atlanta.
'The King' told Tiebreaker Times:
"I’m super excited for my next fight. I cannot wait to perform there and try to put on a show. I know this is a great chance to make a statement and bring back the finishes. If it all falls into plan, I really want to get that knockout. I want that highlight-reel knockout. I haven’t gotten one yet. Just winning isn’t enough. I need to make a statement."
