ONE lightweight Muay Thai world title challenger, Sinsamut Klinmee, wouldn't mind throwing down in the bigger gloves under the promotional banner if given the chance.
The Venum Training Camp athlete opened up on the possibility of testing himself in kickboxing ahead of his must-win tie against Youssef Assouik at ONE Fight Night 25. He told the promotion:
"Of course, I'm interested in competing in kickboxing because I'm a fighter who likes to punch and kick."
Thus far, 'Aquaman' has racked up a respectable 4-3 slate in 'The Art of Eight Limbs' in the promotion, with two of his losses coming to ONE lightweight Muay Thai world champion Regain Eersel. In all his victories, the Pattaya native has shown that he has a lot to offer when he moves forward and throws haymakers.

As such, he should be able to transition to the discipline like a duck to water. But before he switches to kickboxing, the 28-year-old's radar is locked on his upcoming target inside the Mecca of Muay Thai this Friday, Oct. 4.
Sinsamut fired up to impress against Youssef Assouik
After seeing his two-match win streak — against Mouhcine Chafi and Victor Teixiera — come to a screeching halt against Dmitry Menshikov this past May, Sinsamut aims to bounce back with a statement performance.
While the possibility of securing a US$50,000 performance bonus is alluring, the Thai admits that he won't prioritize that over giving his all inside the Thai capital.
In the same interview, Sinsamut continued:
"It's very important, but I won't put too much pressure on myself...I haven't thought about getting a bonus for this fight yet. I just want to win with style first."
ONE Fight Night 25, headlined by a ONE lightweight kickboxing world title rematch between defending champion Alexis Nicolas and Regian Eersel, will be available to active Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America.
