Aung La N Sang has been there and done it all in ONE Championship as one of the most iconic fighters in the history of the promotion.
When many picture ONE, 'The Burmese Python' will come to mind for a lot of people given his legend status.
He has been involved in the promotion since 2016 and has seen many new arrivals, top contenders, and world champions come and go during this period.
Having been undefeated inside the Circle all the way up to his first encounter with Reinier de Ridder in 2020, he knows what it takes to make it to the top.

With that in mind, the former two-weight world champion is incredibly impressed with the level at which young fighters can compete today.
26-year-olds Fabricio Andrade and Christian Lee both bring such developed and dangerous games to the table despite being so young in their careers, not to mention the prospects coming through like Christian's younger brother Adrian.
Aung La spoke about this in a recent interview with The AllStar:
"Even though I'm like the OG in ONE Championship, I'm still learning and I'm still growing. But these young guys are phenomenal, like the skill sets they have are at a very high level at such a young age, you know. I'm just like blown away by the skill sets of these younger guys."

Aung La N Sang is still going strong at 39
Aung La N Sang is right to spotlight some of the young stars in the promotion to show just how far this sport has come.
However, he also deserves recognition for remaining at the top of his weight class at the age of 39.
The two are almost entirely different feats, achieving success early on versus having consistency late in a career.
He will look to prove this once again when he returns at ONE Championship's second trip to Denver, Colorado when he faces Shamil Erdogan on September 6 at ONE 168.
Tickets for ONE 168: Denver are available via Ticketmaster.
